Does the brother have any sisters?: I actually have three sisters and there are also two sisters living in my house
On November 27, 2015 literary production company Wintertuin and record label Snowstar Records released broeder Dieleman's book and cd. This special edition is called Uut de bron. The book is a bundle of all broeder Dieleman's texts, including those that appear on the new, eponymous album. The album contains songs, field recordings and instrumental passages that follow up and complement each other. An hour of new music, conversations and soundscapes from broeder Dieleman's Zeelandic Flanderes.
Zeelandic Flanders is a region full of stories. They're present in the landscape and the faces of people. They wander around in pubs, at the dinner table and through the stove. That is why the protagonists on the new album of broeder Dieleman come across a soundscape of rustling poplars while having a conversation about the spring, the harvest or their calling as sculptor or priest.
Uut de bron was recorded in May 2015 by Pim van de Werken and the edition appears as a collaboration between Wintertuin and Snowstar Records on Black Friday; the day which independent recordstores celebrate by releasing special editions. This will be a limited edition of 500 hand numbered copies. The presentation will take place during Wintertuinfestival, November 28 in Nijmegen.
